Welcome to Hathaway Quilters in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Hathaway Quilters is a community group for people who have a passion for patchwork and quilting. Established in 1993 we have been meeting in Stratford-upon-Avon for 27 years; we are pleased to say some of the founder members still come and enjoy our meetings. Work ranges from traditional piecing and lovely applique methods to colourful quilts with a modern and artistic twist. We also welcome others who have a passion for knitting or other sewing crafts.

If you are looking for a place to socialise and meet fellow quilters, we invite you to join us. We have a variety of quilting interests and believe there is something for everyone. We are not a judged or juried group and welcome all quilters, beginners and advanced.

NHS NEEDS SCRUBS - SOUTH WARWICKSHIRE

Hospital employees who under normal circumstances wore their own clothes to work found that due to Covid 19 they were required to wear scrubs, it goes without saying a lot more scrubs needed than normal!!

It was South Warwickshire Foundation Trust’s aim to get 3 sets per member of staff.

Abigail Sheridan de-Graaff of ‘Cut and Alter’ started co-ordinating for south Warwickshire, also starting up a go fund me page, no mean feat when you have a young family and new puppy and latterly an injured Mum, but that didn’t deter Abigail and needs were beginning to be met in our area. Previously we had the links to the ‘go fund me page’ and Abigail’s e mail address, we have now taken these down as the needs have now been met.

Thanks a million, to everyone that offered their support.

Hathaway Quilters members have been busy with their contributions to the NHS, private sector and for family.
